Floyd E. Vasquez Jr. "Vision Broadcast"

Over the years his favorite radio stations have included KCRW, KROQ, KNAC, WNEW FM, WDRE, WHTZ, WDHA, KJAZZ, KSDS and KUNM.   He likes head bopping, goose bump, smile and laughter inducing, thoughtful radio.  His musical ear has been largely influenced by  friendship and listening experiences with New York producer/mixer/engineer Roy Hendrickson as well as personal experience in the “music business”.  He likes to play well crafted, original and creative music with the power to move, excite and inspire.  
 
On 4th Thursday Fresh, He plays new and original Dance and DJ music punctuated with international pop, alternative, progressive, jazz, world and other musical stylings, to include the occasional classic.    
      
VisionBroadcast refers to a NYC-based music website he created in 1995.    VisionBroadcast.com was among the first featuring national artist interviews, streaming audio and video and active message boards.  The website spawned Los Angeles Music Festival ®, an internet and live music festival that has included concerts at the Troubadour, Whiskey A Go Go, House of Blues, Knitting Factory, Billboard Live, Viper Room, Coconut Teaszer, Dragonfly and Jacks Sugar Shack.  After 17 years in NYC with periods in Hollywood, he returned to NM in 2000.  In his day job he's an Assignment Editor at KRQE New 13.
